Cumbria Police have issued a warning about the dangers of buying fireworks ahead of Bonfire Night.
Police are advising people to only buy from "reputable retailers" and ensure they carry the CE mark.
Fireworks should be stored away from heat sources, kept dry, and locked away from children.
Police also warned against storing fireworks in garages and sheds, as they can become damp and are easier to steal.
Fireworks can be used until midnight on Bonfire Night (November 5).
