A DISPERSAL order took place in a West Cumbrian town this week.
The order was put into place in Workington town centre on Thursday, October 31, at 5pm and came to an end on Friday, November 1 at 7am.
Numerous dispersal orders have been put in place over recent months as Operation Enhance came into force.
The operation targets violence and antisocial behaviour within Cumbrian communities.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Dispersal orders are authorised under Section 34 Anti-Social Behaviour, crime and policing act 2014.
"This Order will only affect those who intend on causing harassment, alarm or distress to any person in the specified area.
"We want you to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween Night, but those who decide to engage in Anti-Social Behaviour will be dispersed from this area for up to 48 hours. Failure to leave the area when directed may result in arrest."
