A COACH driver has appeared in court accused of causing the death of a man by dangerous driving.
Michael Cockton, 47, is accused of causing the death of Roger Denwood, who died on December 15 as a result of injuries sustained at Carlisle Railway Station on November 30 last year.
Cockton, of St Helens Avenue, Flimby, is accused of driving a white coach dangerously on the railway station car park.
He did not enter a plea to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving when he appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court with the next hearing set for December 2. Cockton was granted unconditional bail.
