DRIVERS in and around Allerdale will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under ten minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows one closure already in place will carry on this week:
• A66, from 8.30am October 21 to 4pm November 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 both directions A66 Dubwath, junction to A66 Lamplugh Roundabout - two-way signals for signs - erection on behalf of National Highways.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• A66, from 8pm November 18 to 5am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 eastbound and westbound, Workington to Stainburn Roundabout, carriageway closure, and traffic signals.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in this schedule.
