A GROUP of friends from Workington have once again raised funds for a much loved West Cumbrian charity - in memory of a popular entertainer.
The group of members at the Senhouse Street Working Men’s Club in Workington have raised £1,500 for much loved West Cumbrian charity Hospice at Home West Cumbria, by hosting a charity night in memory of popular singer Keith Ray.
The events are organised by Janice Bond who first started fundraising for the organisation 13 years ago- and are supported with help from their friends, as well as member of the Senhouse Street Club and performers from across West Cumbria.
In a statement on social media, Hospice at Home West Cumbria said: "Thank you to Janice, Natalie, and all at Senhouse Street Club in Workington for raising a fantastic £1,500 through their recent charity night.
"We are so grateful for your continued support for local families going through the most difficult of times."
