A £4 million waterside property in the Lake District is up for grabs in a new prize draw.

The luxurious house, which boasts stunning views of Coniston Water, its own spa, and a private jetty, is part of Omaze's latest competition to raise funds for Age UK.

The winner will also receive £250,000 in cash to help them settle in.

The property, which has been redeveloped and redesigned by Omaze, is described as a "secluded sanctuary" surrounded by nature offering views of Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest.

The house comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered.

The winner can choose to live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income, or sell it to become a cash multimillionaire.

Omaze estimates that the £250,000 cash prize would enable the winner to run the house for over six years.

If rented out, the property could achieve a long-term rental value of £4,000 per month.

The four-bedroom house offers reverse-level living, with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and spacious open-plan living spaces on the first floor.

The design incorporates plenty of glazing to offer stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains from almost every room.

The property also features a spa house with a rainfall shower, Himalayan salt wall, therapy table, gym, and wooden in-ground hot tub on the terrace.

There is also a standalone summerhouse for the winner to enjoy with friends and family.

The house is located just a short drive from the village of Coniston.

The Omaze Million Pound House Draw will raise money for Age UK.

Omaze has guaranteed a minimum donation of £1 million for the charity.

Radio presenter and Age UK ambassador, Ken Bruce, said: "I’m thrilled to be supporting this incredible partnership between Omaze and Age UK.

"It’s not every day you get to be a part of something that has the power to change lives, both for the lucky winner of this stunning home and for the older people Age UK supports every day.

"Age UK has been close to my heart for years.

"I’ve seen first-hand how they bring vital friendship and support to older people who feel alone and forgotten."

James Oakes, chief international officer at Omaze, said: "Everyone at Omaze is honoured to be partnering with Age UK for our latest house draw.

"By offering this stunning house in the Lake District, along with £250,000 in cash, Omaze gives people the chance to win a life-changing prize, whilst also raising money for charities."

In addition to winning the grand prize, people who enter online by midnight on Sunday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 10, for postal entries, are also in with the chance of winning their share of £1,000,000 in the Omaze Christmas Special Early Bird Prize Draw.

The top prize is a huge £500,000, with the four remaining prize amounts of £250,000, £100,000, another £100,000, and £50,000.

Draw entries for the Omaze Million Pound House Draw are available now at omaze.co.uk.

The draw closes on Boxing Day, Thursday, December 26, 2024, for online entries and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for postal entries.
