Cumberland Council is urging residents from legacy areas of Carlisle and Copeland to download their current waste collection calendars.
This is because the waste collection calendars on legacy council websites will no longer be accessible from the end of November.
The council will inform residents through its website and social media when updated calendars are available.
In the meantime, residents, especially in Carlisle and Copeland, are urged to download their current collection schedules to ensure they have the necessary information.
Residents in the Allerdale area will continue to have access to online calendars.
As part of the shift to a unified online platform, Cumberland Council’s website will be the only source for waste collection information.
The council also reminds residents that garden waste collections in Allerdale and Copeland have ended for the year and will resume in 2025.
In Carlisle, garden waste collections will continue at a reduced service.
Residents should check the online refuse collection dates finder for updates before the end of November.
