Four darling dogs, currently in the care of Eden Animal Rescue, are ready for rehoming. Are you ready to meet them?
The animal shelter at Moorlands Head Farm, Temple Sowerby has been caring for animals since 1995 and pledges to never put a healthy animal to sleep.
These beautiful dogs are ready to find their forever families…
Mitch is a five-year-old Lurcher.
food orientated and quick to learn, he is also quite a nervous dog but becomes a fun-loving pup with lots of love to give once he gets to know you.
He is described as veryMitch is looking for an adult only home as he can be nippy when excited or feeling defensive.
The shelter said he can be reactive to other dogs but is friendly if introduced carefully.

Meg is a four-year-old Collie dog.
She is described as a very friendly and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than going out into the field and having a toy thrown for her.
Meg was handed in due to her owner’s ill health, unfortunately, Eden Animal Rescue said she is not coping well in the kennel.
“We are not seeing her at her best,” Eden Animal Rescue said, “She is quite insecure and has been known to grumble/bare her teeth when feeling defensive, to communicate that she is feeling uncomfortable.”
Megs needs a quiet household with confident dog owners.
Simba, the Alapaha Blue Bulldog Cross, is around eight or nine years old.
He is described as a very nice natured big boy who loves human company and is looking for a home where his owner will be around.
The shelter said he is not great with other dogs and will mostly ignore them when out on a walk, but he is protective of his personal space.
Simba is housetrained and has been around children before but cannot go to a home with children under ten due to his size.

Tilly is an eight-year-old Bull Lurcher.
She loves to play with a Kong and snuggling on the sofa and has been working on her reactive behaviour towards other dogs.
The team at the rescue centre said: “Tilly is looking for a forever home where she will be loved and treated like the princess that she is. She has so much love to give and would make a great companion to someone on their own, who live in a rural area, as she is extremely loyal.”
Tilly had to have a specialist orthopaedic surgery last year after an injury to her cruciate ligament, but she is now back to full fitness and doing really well.
If you think you might be able to offer one of these sweet pups a forever home, contact Eden Animal Rescue. After an appointment, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and, once approved, will gain a new friend for life!
