A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two police cars and a VW van.
Police were alerted to a three vehicle crash around 8:50am this morning, November 22 involving two police cars and a VW car on Siddick Road, Workington.
The occupants of the police car were uninjured during the collision, with a woman in the third car (VW) being taken to hospital to be checked over.
The road was closed for some time whilst closed recovery worked at the scene and was reopened around 10.25am
