A MAN was arrested on suspicion of breaching a harassment order after climbing on a roof and entering a building in Workington - with police closing the road for a number of hours whilst they dealt with the incident.
Emergency services, including the police, attended Ramsay Brow in Workington yesterday morning, November 24.
At around 9.15am, it was reported a man had climbed onto a roof, and at around 10.15am he had re-entered the building through a window and was secured.
The road at Ramsay Brow was closed for a period of time yesterday morning , with the public asked to avoid the area whilst police dealt with the incident.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of breaching a harassment order. He remains in police custody this morning, November 25.
