An adorable kitten, currently in the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria, is ready to find her forever home.

The little tabby cat is described as being a ‘very sweet’ girl who loves a fuss and has a great big purr!

The team at the rescue centre said: “After a rough start in life Katniss is looking for a home with an understanding owner who can continue to build her confidence.”

She could live with other cats in the home and would also be able to go to a family with older children.

Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once their cats are ready to find a new family, they can be advertised for adoption.
