A PERSON has been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a charity shop.
The incident occurred in Workington yesterday, November 28.
A person has since been charged following the incident.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Allerdale NPT have been out and about on foot patrol in Workington town centre today.
"During their foot patrol they were made aware of a shoplifting from a local charity shop.
"Enquiries were conducted and the person responsible was quickly arrested and charged with the offence."
