A Cockermouth restaurant is set to host a singer-songwriter at a live music event.
Shill of Cockermouth will host musician Dan Cropper on Thursday, December 5, who has performed 'hundreds of gigs' up and down the country.
Local music fans have been told to expect 'covers of classics' from the 1970s and 1980s as from the performer who has been influenced by icons such as Bruce Springsteen and Marvin Gaye.
Writing on social media, they said: "Dan Cropper is a singer-songwriter whose songs draw from pop, rock, folk, blues, and soul.
"His influences include George Harrison, Bruce Springsteen, Fleet Foxes, and Marvin Gaye.
"He has played hundreds of gigs in his hometown of Stafford, as well as Manchester, Bristol, and London.
"Expect covers of classics from the '70s and '80s, with a smattering of others from more recent times."
