A NEW study from Public Health England has revealed that those who have caught Coronavirus once are have 83 per cent immunity against catching it again, for around six months.
Professor Susan Hopkins has led a study into the natural immunity response of Covid-19 patients, on behalf of Public Health England.
Although it is possible to catch Covid-19 again and infect others, the study has found that natural immunity can be 83 per cent effective for around six months.
Professor Susan Hopkins told the press: "The individual chance of catching it again is very difficult to estimate but what we we're saying in the study is that overall, the chances of you getting it in the following six months is 83 per cent reduced odds of infection compared to those who haven't had it before."
