According to the Government's official figures, 1,988 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Cumbria within the last 7 day period.
This means the rate of infection in the county is 397.6 per 100,000 people.
In Copeland, 251 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last seven days, bringing the infection rate for the borough to 368.1 per 100,000 people.
Allerdale recorded 362 positive Covid tests in the last seven days, the rate of infection for the borough is 370.3
The Carlisle area recorded 659 positive tests in seven days, the rate of infection is 606.4 per 100,000 people.
Barrow-in-Furness recorded 279 cases in the last seven days.
Eden is the local authority area with the last cases, 173 new positive tests in seven days. Eden's rate of infection is 324.9 per 100,000 people in the population.
Cumbria has now lost 1001 people to Covid-19. The news comes as the nation's death toll surpassed 100,000.
In yesterday's Covid-19 briefing from Downing Street, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he took "full responsibility" for his Government's handling of the pandemic but said "We truly did everything we could."
