Cumbria Under-15s have won the Ampleforth Festival after winning all four group games to top the table with 60 points.
With every side losing two games across the week and Friday being washed out, Cumbria were declared winners after beating Gloucestershire on Thursday.
Three local players Matthew Harrison (Whitehaven CC), Thomas Fox and Regan Jackson (Workington CC) all produced match-winning performances throughout the week which helped Cumbria win their first Ampleforth Festival title.
Head coach Andrew Bryson said: “It was a fantastic week for both players and parents. After being together for the last two seasons it was great to see all the hard work pay off.”
The U15s were sponsored by Sally’s Cottages.
