Young rising stars travelled from across the county to take part in a rugby union festival hosted by Whitehaven Sharks at The Playground.
On Sunday the host club's under-sevens and under-11s hosted the event, which featured teams from Egremont, Workington, Cockermouth, Keswick, Penrith, Kirby Lonsdale, Creighton and Carlisle.
Three members of the Whitehaven Community First Responders attended to keep a watchful eye on proceedings, with more than 130 youngsters taking part, and they also promoted the work they do.
A club spokesman said: "It was a fantastic day. Thankfully the weather stayed dry so there was a lot of time for games, which were followed by hotdogs and juice which went down a treat.
"As always we would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and parents for allowing these days to be carried out; without them, the Sharks would not be able to give the kids the opportunity to grow as individuals and make lasting friendships."
