A LONE goal was all that separated Deer Orchard and Sun Inn in a hotly contested game in the Workington and District Sunday League's top flight.
Ryan Studholme and Steven Rudd found the back of the net for Sun Inn which clinched them a 2-1 victory over their rivals, with Paul Williamson grabbing the reply for the home side.
Northside found their going a lot easier when they welcomed Salterbeck in the premier division and walked away with a 7-0 win.

In division one, there was a 10 goal thriller with Sun Inn Athletic and Maryport Labour Club having to share the points after a 5-5 draw.
There were hat-tricks for both clubs with Ewan Trestianu leading the way for Athletic, alongside goals for Brad Williamson and Mark Campbell.
The hat-trick hero for Labour Club was Ethan Weir, with support from David Ousby and David Miller.
It was another tight game as Glasson Gardeners made the trip to Highfield and just edged the encounter 3-2 thanks to a brace for Karl Fillingham and a goal from Greg Mounsey.
Highfield had battled throughout recording goals for Keith Skillen and Andrew Richardson.
Stephen Stoddart found the back of the net twice as Dearham won 4-0 on their trip to play JJs, with Jackson Clark and Matthew Lister rounding off the scoring.
The final game in the division saw Flimby Social pick up all the points at The Junction thanks to a 5-0 scoreline.
The goals were shared, with one each for Max Litt, Adam Kirkbride, Thomas Husband, Kyle Davis and an own goal.
