A women's rugby team from Cumbria are celebrating after clinching the league title last weekend.
Keswick Falcons Rugby Union side officially secured the Women's NC 2 North (North) title on Sunday March 17 after a 15-10 victory against Workington Zebra Finches.
The result ensured that the Falcons have secured their spot in the Women's NC North 1 division for next season, where they could potentially face fellow Cumbrian side Carlisle Cougars Ladies.
It has been a hugely successful season for Dean Robinson's side, as they have won all 11 of their games in the league campaign, with 54 points on the board and an incredible 194 points difference.
This is all the more impressive given that the women's side only played their first competitive game of contact rugby in February 2022.
The club are now urging fans to come along to cheer the Falcons onto a perfect league campaign ahead of their final fixture against Darlington Ladies next month.
On Facebook, they wrote: "Please come along and show your support for this amazing team on April 7 at Davidson Park as they aim to bag their final league win. There will be plenty of celebrating to be done afterwards!"
