FORMER Workington Town star Ethan Bickerdike has now signed for Whitehaven RL.
This comes ahead of both clubs' 2025 League 1 campaign.
A former Millom RLFC junior Bickerdike made his professional bow versus Haven back in 2020 but failed to make a competitive appearance as the season was curtailed due to the Covid pandemic.
Since making his debut in the 2021 season he has made 59 appearances for Town scoring 16 tries being equally comfortable across the backline and deputising in the halves.
Under new Haven head coach Anthony Murray Bickerdike made 31 appearances scoring 10 tries.
Mr Murray said: "Ethan is a great addition to the squad and can play in a variety of different positions in the outside backs.
"Ethan brings a wealth of experience having started at Millom and then playing at town in the championship and league one for a couple of years now.
"He has a really good work ethic and is a player who gives his all for the team in whatever position he is asked to play.
"I am delighted he has agreed to play for me again and these are the types of players we need to attract to Whitehaven."
